The tuba at AChA
One tuba holds up the entire brass section. Tubists in the Australian Christian Orchestra are rare, valued, and central to the grandest moments in our sacred programming.
- The commitment
- Monthly Thursday rehearsals, 7:00–9:15 pm. Concert preparation may include extra rehearsals.
- Where you'll meet
- UTS Building 5, 1 Quay Street, Haymarket.

Let's hear about you.
Start with the interest form. Grade 7+ AMEB (or equivalent). A requested video helps the team hear your current level. As the only tuba chair, reliability is especially appreciated.

- Suitable applicants are invited to a trial rehearsal.
- After approval, complete your membership and onboarding.
