If a concert has stirred something in you and you're wondering where to go next, here's how AChA helps people find a local church community in Sydney.

Concerts open something. We see it at every AChA event — people walking out at the end with their faces a little softer, their questions a little sharper, their hearts a little more open. For some, the next step is obvious. For others, it's not.

That's what the Doorway program exists for: helping people who've been moved by a concert find a local church community in Sydney where they can put down roots.

How it works

Take the church personality quiz — eight short questions about how you connect with God, what style of worship resonates, and which suburb of Sydney you live in. We send you a personalised email within a few days with 2–3 specific church recommendations that match your answers.

The recommendations span every major Christian tradition — Anglican, Catholic, Pentecostal, Orthodox, Baptist, Uniting Church, and more. We don't push you toward any one denomination. We help you find what fits.

What we won't do

We don't pressure anyone to believe. The first door is always open.
We don't replace the local church. AChA is not a church; we are a community of musicians who help people find a church.
We don't track or follow up unless you ask us to.

What happens at concerts

At every AChA concert, our team includes Doorway hosts — people whose job is simply to be available. If you have questions about faith, or you want to talk through something the music stirred, they're there. We never do altar calls or pressure-style outreach. We offer a doorway, not a hallway.

208 people helped since 2022

Since November 2022, 208 people have been connected to a local church through Doorway. 34 people have recommitted their lives to Christ. 19 have come to faith for the first time. 330 have had their faith reaffirmed by what they experienced at a concert.

These aren't numbers to us. Each one is a person with a story.
