Who We Are

Australian Christian Arts (AChA) is a Sydney-based, multi-denominational arts organisation dedicated to reclaiming the arts for Christ. We believe that artistic excellence and genuine faith are not in tension — they are a calling.

Founded to serve churches and the broader Christian community across Australia, AChA brings together skilled musicians, vocalists, and creative artists who want to use their gifts in worship and mission. Our players and singers come from over 17 church denominations across Sydney.

Our Mission

Our mission is simple but profound: to reveal the beauty of the Creator, inspire hearts to encounter Christ, and communicate the Gospel through transformative artistic experiences. As the Church has always known, art is one of the most powerful ways to communicate eternal truths.

The Australian Christian Orchestra

The Australian Christian Orchestra unites skilled musicians from across denominations to create powerful, Spirit-led worship and concert experiences. With original arrangements and a heart for God's presence, we bring music that moves both heart and soul. Players range from Grade 6 proficiency to conservatorium-trained professionals, with ages from 18 to their 80s.

The Australian Christian Choir

The Australian Christian Choir brings together passionate vocalists from across denominations to create powerful concert experiences. With rich harmonies, original arrangements, and a vibrant community, we sing music that stirs both heart and spirit. Rehearsals are held twice monthly on Thursday evenings from February to November.

Youth Programs

We are building one of Australia's greatest youth orchestras and choirs. Young creatives are some of the most sensitive, thoughtful, and spiritually open-hearted people in the world — yet they are often the most overlooked. AChA's youth programs give young musicians a place where their gift is never 'too much', where faith and art unite, and where they can grow into the artists they were meant to become.
